PPAI booth signage

My Role:

Art Direction, & Graphic Designer

About:

PPAI is an organization that holds a promotional supplier expo every year in Las Vegas. This is the booth that I designed for PCNA’s space for 2020. From a large ceiling logo cylinder, down to the lanyards and pens used by the booth reps, here is the creative process from concept to final images.

2020 PPAI Vegas Show Attendance:

20,000+ People, 3100+ booths

Original Concept

Once we got the preliminary mock ups from the exhibit vendor, I knew we had a lot of design real estate on top of the product shelves in this booth design. The main focus would be the top signage concept, and you would be able to see it across the convention center.

With this in mind I wanted to create a grid utilizing brand messages, standard product photography, some happy on-figure photography to show apparel, and this was the first time we used these secondary brand colors.

Eco Products

The center of the booth featured a collection of the eco line offering, and 4 large pillars with eco messaging. This was the new focus of the booth, and spearheaded the initiative for PCNA to be positioned as a socially responsible organization.

Apparel Products

This was right when PCNA’s internal brand Trimark underwent a rebrand, so the apparel portion of the booth was vital for introducing the new look to customers. We leveraged the feature images from the catalog and messages for each content pillar were displayed in the new script typeface.

The result:
